How to Apply

Genesee County Habitat for Humanity is not currently accepting new applications as staff members continue to process more than 200 applications already submitted. Flint residents with a household income of more than 80% AMI may not qualify for no-interest loans through the Flint HIF, but they can still apply for a low-interest unsecured loan through Huntington Bank. There are three ways to get an application form for the Flint Home Improvement Fund:

  • You can download it.
  • You can pick up an application form at the Habitat Restore at 101 Burton St. in Flint from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesdays through Saturdays.
  • We can mail a form to you.
